Le Corbusier

The works of famous architect Charles Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, called Le Corbusier, are being represented by several impressing products offered by Bauhaus Classics design. Among other pieces of furniture you may also find Corbusier´s basculant chair LC1 made of chrom and leather or the chaise longue, Corbusier`s lounge chair LC4. Our supply comprises models such as Corbusier LC2 and Corbusier LC3 just as the series Corbusier Grand Comfort, all being available as chairs as well as sofas. Buyers may choose here between Corbusier two-seater and Corbusier three-seater. Marcel Breuer

People often connect his name with the epoch-making period of bauhaus: Marcel Breuer, born in former Hungary . His global work composed of many artistic facets has been saved as we still have for instance his famous chair Wassily consisting of steel and chrome, just as his swinging chair Cesca and finally Laccio, a small melamine chromium-plated chipboard, all of them having a firm place in our product range.

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

The collections of Bauhaus Classics also show some reproductions which are forming part of the remarkable works stemming from Bauhaus´ last director, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Known milestones of his opus are f.e. his Chaise Longue (Lounge Chair) or rather the swinging chair MR. Rohe´s chair Brno dating from 1930 as well as the combination of chair and stool called Barcelona have manifested his modern classic style.

Harry Bertoia

Our collection wouldn´t be complete in any case without featuring Harry Bertoia, an italian who emigrated to the United States with his family in 1930. He gained his international reputation by teaching and in addition establishing the metalworking studio in Cranbrook. Closely connected with Charles and Ray Eames he became famous for his innovative and also commercially successful wire chairs, two of them being proudly presented at

Charles Eames

Among other famous contemporaries the american artist Charles Eames with his turnable Lounge Chair and the Ottoman belonging to it has contributed an indispensable value to our range of modern "Bauhaus Classics " furniture.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Enjoy the incomparable geometrical structure inhering Charles Rennie Mackintosh´s seatings, now available as reproductions of his chairs Hillhouse, Ingram and also the famous Willow. Gerrit Rietveld

Red & Blue are synonymous with Gerit Rietveld´s bauhaus lamp as with the wooden chair Zig Zag, also created by this famous belgian artist. The chipboard Schröder marks another milestone of Rietveld´s career, well-known by insiders and experts and continously looked after by consumers. Isamu Noguchi

Born as a japanese child in Los Angeles Isamu Noguchi got famous all over the world with his multiple talents concerning fine arts, extending from art of sculpture to (landscape) architecture including public sites/buildings, not forgetting his work as a designer of ordinary objects. We are delighted to offer his exceptional table with its basement designed in lacquered ash wood and covered by a crystal top.

Eileen Gray

Many people appreciate Eileen Gray for her discoveries in modern art of lacquer. Studying the works of this irish-born lady in depth you will find an astonishing range of artistic abilities. Bauhaus Classics offers her armchair Bibendum with chromed frame upholstered in soft leather or fabric, the famous sofa Lota as well as her Day-bed upholstered in cotton, leather or alcantara.
